It was a busy day that started off with his official birthday breakfast and recycled party hat. Next we were off to church, a quick lunch, and then to the big birthday party.
Justin and Natalie shared their birthday party at the local indoor soccer arena. Lots of kids, lots of fun and lots of HOT. It was probably the hottest day of the summer and there was no a/c in the arena. Can you say sauna? Luckily, the heat didn't curb the kids' enthusiasm. They had a great time playing soccer and sweating with 20 of their closest friends.
What a blessing to be able to give them their first real birthday party... with cake and friends and presents (Whoa! The presents! We're just now finishing up the thank you cards!)
